Strawberry Music Festival, Labor Day 09'

Over the Labor Day weekend we went camping with some of our friends. We drove up the 99 to Camp Mather outside the West entrance to Yosemite. We were at the Strawberry Music Festival of Blue Grass music. We had two other families with us. Our new friends Amanda and Jesse with their twin boys that are three years old. Their counsins also came along and we all had a wonderful time. By wonderful I mean dirty and fatigued. The grand total was 4 boys under age 4 and two cousins under 11 with 6 parental units. This is barely a fair fight. Amanda and I took a couple journeys to get ice and back from the lake by ourselves with the 4 boys and looked at each other with "why did we do this" in our eyes.

You can see some of the campers across the meadow.

Early morning, chillin' in the meadow with my cracker and my truck.

Now that is some of the dirt I was talking about.
